Ricardo Frazer
Ricardo Frazer is a retired Professor of Psychology from Atlanta Metropolitan State College. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica on Orange Street (Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Studio is located on that street). The family moved to Grand Cayman then to Hartford, Connecticut when he was soon to be 7 years old. He attended Hartford High School for one year then Tolland High School for 3 years. He received his BA and BS degrees in Psychology and Environmental Horticulture from the University of Connecticut. He received his Master of Education Degree from Harvard University in Counseling and Consulting Psychology. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University and is a fellow of the Linnean Society of London. He has presented scholarly papers to national audiences on diverse topics such as Optimal Psychology, Psychological Wellness, and Holistic Healing. He is a poet, oil painter, photographer, percussionist, and songwriter. He received the Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board Albert Nelson Marque Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.
