~ Meet The Author ~
Dakota Ellis is a children’s author who finds her greatest joy in sharing stories with her two kids, Ausie and Bryson. Her love for storytelling began one evening during a family camping trip, when she ran out of bedtime books to read aloud. Instead of ending the night early, Dakota began weaving her own tale about talking animals under the stars. Her children’s excitement and laughter sparked a dream that would soon turn into her writing career.

Through her books, Dakota hopes to inspire imagination, nurture kindness, and create special moments between parents and children. Her goal is simple but meaningful: to write stories that families can read together, over and over, while making memories that last a lifetime.
